This concert was performed just barely a few months ago on 13th Dec 2015 and is literally hot from the press, so to speak! Performing for Sri Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha at Vani Mahal is always a special experience, and we have handpicked this concert from our season concerts in 2015 to share with you.
In this concert, we have sung ragas and songs that are close to our hearts. In particular, Raga Dwijvanthi, the chosen raga for Ragam Tanam Pallavi brings together both Carnatic and Hindustani influences to a seamless blending. We wonder at the beautiful way in which both systems have added dimensions to this wonderful raga!
