This is our very first video album, and we have tried to recreate for you the actual experience of the live concert- Anubhavam!
Whether it is the evergreen Sitapati in Khamas which we fondly recall singing in one of our first albums,or the multi hued Simmendramadhyamam that segues twice through Graha Bhedam into Saveri and Bowli, or the less heard Manasasri in the rare raga Ishamanohari, this concert captures all the facets of the best of our live concerts.
The Dwi-raga Ragam Tanam Pallavi explores the interesting similarities and differences between both the ragas- Kannada and Kaanada. The Pallavi line again echoes the connection of the Papanasam Sivan classic song in Raga Kannada while including the Raga mudra of Kaanada that is woven into the words.
On another note, it was a joy to have the appreciative presence of legendary dancer-actor Vyjayanathimala Bali throughout the concert.
